During Christmas last year I got the Lego Bonsai Tree as a present but hadn’t found the time to set it up.

As I needed something for this week’s entry, I figured it was time to make it. I used my grey background with natural light coming from the window to camera left. The gear used was the Sony Alpha a7IV and Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art with the following settings:

• f/5.6
• 0.8 sec
• ISO 100

The tree is a lot bigger than I thought it would be so it limited my options when it came to setups, but I may try take some more images of it later on. I’d also love to get a real Bonsai Tree if I can find a decent place that sells them near me.
