I’m not sure how but it’s already mid February and this is my first post for 2025.

I think it’s safe to say the year is progressing quite fast for me, maybe the same for you. In the last month and half I managed to get a new lens, the FE 50mm f/2.5 G. My G.A.S had been pretty good but I have a vacation in the coming months and wanted something light and easy to use regularly.

It was one of the lenses I had been interested in for quite some time but the aperture detoured me a bit due to only being f/2.5. When I looked at a lot of my 50mm photos I noticed I was often shooting at f/2.2 or slower so I figured the aperture wouldn’t be an issue in the end.

The rest of the images are more just random photos I capture while out and about. The 15 Cenchi ones are a dessert place we like to go all the time, their cheesecakes are really nice. The flowers and card were also from Valentine’s Day. We have a tradition of sorts where we only make handmade cards for each other and never store bought. I’ll usually check Pinterest for ideas and inspiration and this one was something I could make.

Next up is my figurine. Ever since I was a kid, I was always a big fan of DragonBall Z (showing my age a bit there). I had watched most of Dragon Ball, all of Z and all of GT but never watched Super. I’m not sure why but about 6 months ago I decided to give Super a watch since I heard good things. Without getting too far off the photography path, watching this made me want to get some Dragon Ball related figurine which explains the Kid Goku photo in this post.
