Over the weekend there was the Barangaroo Artisan Markets here in Sydney.
I haven’t been carrying my camera with me much (hence not many photos on here) but for some reason I decided to take it out on this day and I’m glad I did. We forgot about the market so decided to go for a walk around there and I took quite a few images which you can see in this post.
Usually if I go to markets there’s one thing I’m looking to buy and that’s food. It’s not just any food either, it’s usually some kind of dessert or hot dogs which may sound like a strange combo. Sadly I didn’t get any of these but I got some decent images so at least there’s that…
The more I use my 35GM the more I find that I don’t care for 50mm and might as well the sell the 50mm f/2.5 G I got months ago. I told myself I’d keep the 50mm as it does fill that gap but I just don’t see a point in keeping gear I don’t enjoy using.
My 35GM makes me really happy with the images it produces and the same for my 85mm Art. I’d say the only 50mm that has been like that for me was the Sigma 50mm f/2 and I’m sure the 50 Art and 50GM would probably be great but at their cost, I don’t feel it’s worth it for me.
Below you can see all the images I took with the a7C II + 35GM. It’s been a while since I got shoot any street type shots so it was fun to get out and do something different. It’s about to enter winter here and the colder it gets the more I’m in the mood for photography so some cityscapes is probably next for me.
