This week I got Donkey Kong Bananza which just came out yesterday.

It was a game that I was a bit mixed on if I wanted to purchase or not as I’m more of a fan of the traditional 2D style platformers. Super Mario Bros Wonders was a recent platformer that I really enjoyed and when I heard about this new Donkey Kong games, I was expecting something similar.

This game is much more like Super Mario Bros. Odyssey which ironically I never played. It’s strange too as I like a lot of Sony platformers like Knack (we really need a third game) and Astro Bot but for some reason when it comes to Nintendo, I just love the 2D style.

Now in terms of the photo, I took both images on the Sony Alpha a7C II with the Sony FE 50mm f/2.5 G. I wanted to try this lens once more before I decide if I’m going to sell it or not. I know I can get almost every shot I want with the 35/85 combo so in my current mind state the 50mm still isn’t quite needed.
