As you’d notice by a lot of my posts, I’m really into my gaming (which often takes priority over photography) and it’s something I’ve been into for a long time.

Another thing I enjoy is taking photos of new/old items I own for fun so I used that as an excuse to capture all the images you see in this post. This post has a mix of images taken with the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DN Macro Art (pretty much all the close up images) and the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DN Art (the more ‘wide’ shots) on the Sony Alpha a7C II.

The closeup shots I love and getting the same look wouldn’t be possible without my Macro lens, hence why I still keep that and the 85mm prime. You can technically focus as close with a lot of wide angle lenses but the FOV won’t be the same and cropping something like my 85mm isn’t of interest to me since you’ll lose a ton of resolution.

I would have shot the wider images with that lens too, but the wider aperture and shorter focal length made it a lot easier to use in the tighter space and get the images I wanted. I have a new game coming out this Friday so don’t expect another post too soon…
