New Additions

Recently I got two new lenses (don’t tell my girlfriend). Those are the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art in Sony E Mount and the Canon EF-M 32mm f/1.4.

When I was shooting Canon and for a period when I started shooting Sony, The Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS was my most used lens. This I found to be both good and bad. The good part of this was that I knew the focal length well, especially in terms of working distance. The bad part was I didn’t really use many other lenses which limited my experience and knowledge of other focal lengths. This year I did want to focus more on using the 85mm focal length and hopefully these new lenses don’t affect that.

I plan to do short reviews on each lens but here are some quick test shots from each lens. First are images with the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art.

I can’t wait to get out and use both lenses more so I will hopefully have more photos to share soon.
