Daily Dose [15/52]

For this week’s entry I thought I’d take a shot I’ve wanted to for quite some time now.

One focus for me now that I’m older is my health and fitness. In my 20’s I’d always exercise frequently only to stop after a few weeks to a month. I’d always repeat this cycle and never really commit to it long term.

Once COVID hit and I was working fully remote, I decided to use the commuting time and my lunch break to work out daily. Additionally watching WWE and seeing everyone so jacked also made me want to lose my belly and get in shape 😂

Since about June of 2020 I’ve worked out usually 5 days a week, every single week unless I was sick (which barely happened thanks to WFH) or traveling.

Part of this was trying to eat/snack a bit healthier so these protein shakes have become a daily staple of mine. For the shot itself I used my Sony Alpha a7IV + Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DN Art although I was tempted to just use my new Tamron 70-180mm.

I’ll admit I’m pretty bad at placement when it comes to still life photos. I see so many images on Twitter that are so well done but I admittedly always feel lost on how/where to exactly place things.

Regardless of that I’ve wanted to take this shot for ages and now it’s finally done! That brings this post to an end if you’d like to be notified of future posts, please subscribe using the form below.

Does it taste good? I used to drink when I was a high school student 😅 but most of them didn’t taste good. After a few decades, it might be different now. 😅

Yes I really like this brand one, I get Strawberry White Chocolate and I enjoy it but the milk you use can really effect the taste 😅
