Revisiting Manns Point [17/52]

For this weeks entry I decided to give another try for a location I had previously been.

The first time I went there I was using my Canon EOS R6 and RF 85mm f/2 IS so in terms of composition, there wasn’t much room for variation. This time I now own the Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 which is much more versatile for a shot like this.

Originally, I was thinking of a panorama similar to the previous image but ended up with this portrait orientation image. I’m happy with the result and I got an idea of another few locations I’d like to visit now I have this lens so be excited!

Beautifully taken! 70-180mm seems very versatile. And, f/2.8 lets you shoot sports, concerts, if needed. 😀

Thanks Joey 🙂 yes it’s a great lens to own! I was thinking of getting a 135mm Prime but this is much more versatile and has a very close minimum focusing distance at 70mm so I can use it for product photography too!
