I thought I’d do a quick and simple post to show some images from the New Years Eve fireworks in Sydney, Australia.
These were taken from Darling Square which is the same spot I shot from last year. The first two images were shot on the Sony a7C II + FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G and are composites as I’ve stacked multiple shots into one image and moved the fireworks a tiny bit.
Usually if I was simply using “lighten” blend mode I’d just consider them one single image but as I did use free transform to move them a tiny bit I believe in calling them a composite and declaring it.
The final 3 images were taken with the a7C II and Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DN Art in APSC mode (sadly I forgot to turn it off when I was trying it). I wanted to try something different this year and have the view be tighter.
