Revisiting Locations

Revisiting Locations

I’m back with another quick post, I know I can’t keep this up but I’m having fun shooting so hopefully more to come soon.

Earlier this week I had decided I was going to make sure I go out to shoot a cityscape one afternoon. I was going to go to Circular Quay but with the sky being the way it was, I decided to revisit this spot in Darling Harbour from a few years ago to give it another try.

Originally I shot there with the 24GM (a beautiful lens) so I figured going wider this time could create something that looks different. The settings for the image are below.

  • 19mm
  • f/8
  • ISO 100
  • 90 Seconds

This was taken with the Sony Alpha a7C II and Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G. This lens is one I have used to a degree but really need to shoot with more. Back to the photo, I had a bit more clouds than I initially expected but thankfully we still got some nice sunset light.

I got a few more locations planned so just need to find the right time. Thanks for reading and I’ll hopefully be back again soon.
