Here are my long overdue photos from my trip to Japan earlier this year. I know in one of my last few posts I said it was coming in a few weeks, then Pokemon Pokopia came out and after over 170 hours of play time later here we are…

A lot of these images I had to edit multiple times as well, last year I didn’t do much photography so my editing skills were way off. My PC is in a room with a ton of natural light so editing in the bright day can give very different results to at night with controlled lighting, so I found the edits I did during the day looked way off and needed redoing.

In terms of the actual trip, I went to Osaka, Uji and Kyoto with images all mixed together. I always have so much fun in Japan when it comes to photography, who knows if it would be like that if I lived there but I’m sure I’d still find it interesting compared to where I live now.

Another fact I didn’t mention in previous posts is I was actually meant to purchase an a7V on the first day in Osaka but sadly that fell through. I’m not sure about now, but at release Japan only had domestic units, meaning they were locked to the Japanese language only. Because of this, the price of them was really good (around ¥340,000) but since I can’t read Japanese it wasn’t an option.

Initially if I had got one on day 1 there, every single image could have been taken with it but instead they were all with my trusty Sony Alpha a7C II. As you can probably see, below are the images for your enjoyment.
