  • Chinese Garden of Friendship

During my walk the other day we passed the Chinese Garden of Friendship.  It may be surprising that despite visiting Sydney so many times, I have never visited this place. I’m hoping this weekend I’ll get the chance to actually go inside and look around 🙂

  • Hello Sydney

After MANY years of waiting, I have finally made the move to Sydney. I got here just over 2 weeks ago now and have really been enjoying the new environment.

  • Wellington Street Sunset

I wanted to test the M5 sensor so I exposed for the highlights and pulled the shadows in post. I have to say I’m pretty happy with how well the M5 handles these scenarios.

  • Night Markets

This is my first time using the Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens. I bought it months ago but my girlfriend used it on her holiday so I never got to try it. This is actually a 6 shot panorama which stitched together fairly easy in Lightroom.

  • St George

This is a Street I walk along on my way to work each day. To me it’s one of the few streets that actually has a city feel to it in Perth, probably due to all the high rises.

  • Roe Street

Just a shot of Roe Street at sunset. It may appear a bit dark if your monitor isn’t calibrated but I really wanted to focus on the sky and have the street look dark and moody.

  • Preston Street

This was simply a nice sunny day on Preston Street in South Perth. I took this from outside Little Macha Girl which is somewhere my girlfriend loves to visit!

  • Regal Theater

This is the Regal Theatre in Subiaco at sunset.

  • Weekend Walk In Hyde Park

While my girlfriend went to an appointment, I decided to go for a short walk around Hyde Park. Carrying the M3 with the Canon 17-40mm f4L wasn’t too troublesome since the body weighs next to nothing.

  • Victoria Avenue

This isn’t anything special, just a street I walk along daily that has nice lighting in the mornings.
