  • Myself

I do a few self portraits each year and I decided to use my new Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 as a test. Often, I find self portraits quite challenging. I’m more used to being behind the camera so I find it hard to pose naturally as I am usually more worried about composition. Using the Play Memories app does help but I still prefer to be the one photographing someone else.…

  • Sirui T-025X

I finally decided to invest in a much needed travel tripod. The model I decided on is the Sirui T-025X.  It’s extremely compact when folded (only 30cm) and very light thanks to its carbon fiber build. I haven’t used it enough to give more detailed impressions but once I do, I’ll be sure to update everyone.

  • First Sip

So I’ve been a bit preoccupied with work and Zelda so haven’t been shooting much (if at all). Here’s just a simple shot of my gf drinking my favorite dessert.

  • Brandon

This is a headshot of Brandon who I work with. It was really hot outside when we shot this and there was some nice backlighting as you can see. The M5’s DPAF really helped when it came to focusing. I did try using focus peaking although I was nowhere near steady enough to make it work when shooting near wide open.

  • Inner Turmoil

So I have been on a bit of a hiatus when it comes to photography and the past few months have been interesting for me to say the least. I’v been through somewhat of a personal battle, hence the title of inner turmoil. The death of my Mom was something I thought I had accepted a long time ago. Sadly I was wrong and recent events managed to show me…
